Ruben Holmgreen Falk grew up on the mission field; his Danish parents Hannah & Egon Falk have always had missions running in their blood. His life started in Norway where his parents where travelling evangelists. Later they brought him to Tanzania. Where they set up a crusade ministry called New Life Outreach. As a teenager Ruben did not want to serve the Lord. He wanted to do anything but serve the Lord. But the Lord would not let go of him and put a strong calling to the nations on his life. Ruben gave up his college life and pursued this calling by going to Bible College at Word of Life in Uppsala, Sweden. After Bible College, Ruben served at another church in Sweden as a volunteer, before heading out to Tanzania to help his parents in their ministry. This is where his prophetic and apostolic gifts where founded and matured. He helped bring the ministry from a little mission with 15 people involved up to the big organisation that it is today. Somewhere in there he met and fell in love and married Hanne. Hanne is from the Danish town of Aarhus. Her family has lived in Aarhus for many years and they have deep roots in the Pentecostal church that her father pastors. Hanne is a nurse and loves her work. Together they have 2 beautiful girls Katarina and Frederikke. Hanne & Ruben founded New Life Academy a school for poor and orhanaged children. The school is a part of the ministry in Tanzania. After 10 years on the mission fields of Tanzania, the Lord spoke to Hanne & Ruben and gave them a burden for pastoring a church in Denmark. He gave them a mandate of restoration and reconciliation and sent them to a church on the Island of Bornholm in the Baltic Sea. They have now been pastoring the Pentecostal Church of Bornholm for 3 years. What was beaten, broken and hurting church is today a church experiencing joy, growth, harmony and the move of God - A church that has experienced restoration and reconciliation. Ruben travels every year with teams back to Tanzania, where he still is a big part of New Life Outreach. He also visits the US regularly to share with partners and churches what God is doing in Tanzania and Denmark. Ruben is the chairman of New Life Outreach, the Danish branch of the ministry. |
